2. Acropolis- Citadel located close to Athens, Greece and has ruins of Parthenon, stoa.
3. Cosmopolis – a large urban centre with a population of many different cultural backgrounds

5. Dodecapolis – a group of twelve cities.
6. Dynapolis- Islamabad, new capital of Pakistan, was designed by Coastantinos. Doxiadis (1913-75), a famous Greek planner, in 1960 on the basis of his theory of dynapolis.
